Dentures/Partials/Relines

Full dentures and partials are removable appliances that may be used as more affordable tooth replacements.  These restorations are removed from the mouth daily by the patient to allow for proper cleaning of the prostheses and recovery of the residual gum tissues.  Full dentures are fabricated when all teeth in an arch are lost, while partial dentures may be fabricated when some teeth are lost and adequate healthy teeth remain as anchors.  Once dentures or partials are fabricated, the gums and bone will continue to change over time, and may require a reline to “refit” the denture.
